First announced on Brian’s Twitter just three days before its release, “Sydney” is Rich Brian’s first single of 2021 under his usual management label 88rising. Under a self-produced funky electro-synth beat and minimal percussion, Brian raps about his viral success and burgeoning clout as an up-and-coming celebrity. The song title and chorus both reference Sydney, where he sold out several shows as part of his The Sailor Australia and New Zealand Tour in August 2019. Read more on Last.fm.

Brian Imanuel (born September 3, 1999), known professionally by the mononym Rich Brian (previously Rich Chigga), is an Indonesian rapper. He is best known for his viral debut single "Dat $tick", which was released in March 2016. Imanuel has collaborated with rappers such as XXXTentacion, Young Thug, and Ghostface Killah, amongst releasing a collection of solo tracks. He embarked on his first solo US tour during Fall/Winter 2017. His debut studio album, Amen, was released in February 2018, and peaked at number 18 on the US Billboard 200.
